Victor Fung
Assistant Professor of Computational Science and Engineering, College of Computing, Georgia Tech
Dr. Fung joined the School of CSE at Georgia Tech as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2022. Prior to this position, he was a Wigner Fellow at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from 2019-2022, where we was also a member of the Nanomaterials Theory Insitute in the Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences. He obtained his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry in 2019 from the University of California, Riverside, and his B.A. in Chemistry in 2015 from Cornell University. A physical chemist by training, Dr. Fung now works at the intersection of scientific artificial intelligence, computing, and materials science/chemistry.
